István Lanstyák

István Lanstyák (born July 13, 1959 in Lučenec ) is a Hungarian linguist who specializes in the language of Hungarians in Slovakia. He studied at the University of Debrecen .

Lanstyák got his PhDr. in 1989 and PhD. 1995 at the Comenius University in Bratislava . He teaches at Comenius University and publishes in the areas of sociolinguistics , multilingualism , language planning and code switching .
