Ivan Dejmal
Ivan Dejmal (born October 17, 1946 in Ústí nad Labem , † February 6, 2008 in Prague ) was a Czech environmental expert, environmentalist, politician and former dissident of the Charter 77 civil rights movement .
During the Velvet Revolution in November 1989 he was one of the founders of the Citizens' Forum and between 1991 and 1992 Environment Minister in the Petr Pithart cabinet . From December 2007 until his death he was the deputy chairman of the Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes .
