The Ivats Peak (English, Bulgarian връх Ивац wrach IWAZ ) is a 900 m high mountain at the Nordenskjöld Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 2.61 km south-southeast of Kavlak Peak , 7.49 km southwest of Darzalas Peak , 5.01 km west of Mount Elliott and 3.69 km northeast of Gusla Peak in the southeast foothills of the Detroit Plateau . The Dinsmoor Glacier is north and the Desudawa Glacier is south of it.
British scientists mapped it in 1978. The Bulgarian Commission on Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2011 after Iwaz , a Bulgarian boyar in the late 10th and early 11th centuries .
