The EuroTrakker is the heavy construction site and off-road model from Iveco with a weight of 27 to 72 t. Outwardly it is similar to the EuroTech , with which it shares the cab and many other features. However, it has a stronger frame, greater ground clearance, different axles and optional all-wheel drive. In Libya, the EuroTrakker is manufactured under the brand name of the Trucks and Bus Company .
The manufacturer himself likes to see the Trakker in the tradition of the "construction bulls" from Magirus-Deutz and the Iveco PA series further developed from Magirus-Deutz hood models. Magirus-Deutz was a commercial vehicle manufacturer fully integrated into Iveco between 1975 and 1983, which traditionally had a strong mainstay in the production of robust construction vehicles. Nevertheless, Iveco was unable to maintain Magirus-Deutz's strong market share in the construction sector and fell behind (at least in Germany) behind its competitors (especially MAN and Mercedes-Benz).
