Ivan Alexandrovich Pronin
Ivan Alexandrowitsch Pronin ( Russian Иван Александрович Пронин ; born October 2, 1982 ) is a Russian handball player .
The 1.90 meter tall and 90 kilogram heavy middle back player has been under contract with GK Newa St. Petersburg since 2009 . Before that he played with GK Kaustik Wolgograd and from September 2007 to 2009 with Wisła Płock . With these clubs he played in the seasons 2000/01, 2004/2005, 2005/2006 and 2007/2008 in the European Cup Winners' Cup , in 2008/2009 in the EHF Champions League , and in 2006/2007 in the EHF Challenge Cup .
Ivan Pronin is in the preliminary roster of the Russian national team for the 2010 European Handball Championship .
