Ivan Karadschow (Иван Караджов; born July 12, 1989 in Sofia ) is a Bulgarian football goalkeeper who has played for FC Arda Kardschali since the beginning of 2018 .

Career

Karajev started his career at CSKA Sofia . In 2007 he moved into the professional squad, but was loaned to Rilski athlete Samokow in his first professional season. There he was first goalkeeper and played 21 games in the A Grupa for the club. He has been back at CSKA Sofia since 2008 and is currently the third goalkeeper there. He wears the number 33. He has not been used this season. He also took part in the U-19 European Football Championship in 2008 with Bulgaria. On May 25, 2011 he won the Bulgarian Cup in the final against Slavia Sofia 1-0 and prevented the equalizer at the end of the game. In early 2012 he left CSKA to join Lokomotive Plovdiv . With his new club he reached the cup final in 2012, which he lost with his team against Ludogorez Razgrad . After the end of the 2011/12 season , his contract was not renewed. He was without a club for half a year before he joined league rival Beroe Stara Sagora in early 2013 . In the summer of 2013 he won the Bulgarian Cup again.

In the 2014/15 season , Karadschow was mostly on the substitute bench as Blagoj Makendschiew's deputy . At the beginning of 2015, he terminated his contract. He was without a club for a while before joining FC Wereja Stara Sagora . At the beginning of 2017 he moved to FK Shakhtsjor Salihorsk in Belarus. There he was first number two behind Wladimir Buschma , but replaced him between the posts in the middle of the season. Since the beginning of 2018 he has been playing again for FC Arda Kardschali in Bulgaria.
