The Jäger Regiment on Horseback No. 5 was a regiment of the Württemberg Army from 1806 to 1816 .
history
Surname
The regiment was reorganized in 1806 as the Jäger regiment on horseback König with 3 squadrons , shortly afterwards a 4th squadron was added. On May 27, 1811 it was renamed the Jäger-Regiment auf Pferd Nr. 4 König . In November 1813, like the other units of the Normann Brigade, it was disbanded and the Jäger Regiment on Horse No. 5 was set up from its soldiers . The regiment was disbanded in November 1816 as part of the reorganization of the Württemberg army, with 2 squadrons each for the 2nd and 3rd Cavalry Regiment .
