The Jägermühle was first mentioned in 1586. The mill was restored mid-18th century to 1870, the grinding operation was supper - and saw mill abandoned.

The mill building, classified in 1935 as dilapidated, was renovated in 1939 by the local architect Alfred Tischer in the homeland security style. The striking pike dormer , a combination of bat dormer and drag dormer, was also created on the courtyard side.

Today the hook-shaped houses of the former Jägermühle are under monument protection .

The building at Jägermühle 15 also belonged to the mill. To the north of it stood the saw gate building and the mill building with the bakery, to the south of it the carpentry building. The Mühlgraben, which was derived from the Lößnitzbach in the north, was dammed up immediately to the north to the now drained and filled mill pond, whose underwater flowed off to the south to the west of the mill, saw and carpenter buildings. The road, which was expanded in the 1930s, now runs through the former Mühlenhof and over the filled mill pond.
