Järvenpään Haukat (German: Habicht , between 2000 and 2003 as a cooperation with KJT) is a Finnish ice hockey club from Järvenpää that was founded in 1979 . The team from Haukat plays their home games in the ST1 Areena .
Between 2000 and 2006 Haukat played in the Mestis , the second highest Finnish ice hockey league . Between 2000 and 2003 they cooperated with the regional ice hockey project KJT , but returned to the traditional name in 2003.
In the 2005/06 season , the club stopped its professional game operations. Since then, the club has been active in the youth field and since 2009 again in the II-divisioona , the fourth-highest ice hockey league.
In 2017, the club managed to move up from the fourth class II-divisioona to the Suomi-sarja .
