Forssan Palloseura , short FPS (formerly FoPS), is a Finnish ice hockey club from Forssa , which plays in the Suomi-sarja and was founded in 1931 . The team plays their home games in Forssan Jäähalli .

From 1960 FoPS, as the club was abbreviated at that time, played in the second-rate Maakuntasarja , which was later converted into the Suomen sarja . In 1974 the then second class Suomen sarja became the I-divisioona , in whose first season FoPS realized the promotion to the also newly founded SM-sarja . In the 1975/76 season, the club completed its only season in the top division and finished it in ninth place, which meant immediate relegation to the second division. Until 2010, FPS belonged continuously to the I-divisioona and always occupied places in the midfield or in the lower third of the table. In 2010, with the Mestis, a new second division was introduced, which FPS belonged to until 2007 and then was relegated to the third division, the Suomi-sarja .
