Koo-Vee is a Finnish sports club from Tampere , whose parent club was founded in 1929. The ice hockey department was founded in 1945 and has belonged to the Suomi-sarja , Finland's third division , since 2007 . The division's home games are played in Hakametsä 2 .

history

The Tampereen Kilpa-Veljet (TK-V) sports club was founded in 1929. The first game in the ice hockey section was played in 1945. In 1958 the club was renamed Koo-Vee.

The greatest success in the club's history was winning the Finnish championship in 1968. As a result, Koo-Vee qualified for the European Cup in 1968/69 , but did not take part. In 1977 another success could be achieved with the runner-up title. Overall, the men's team belonged to the top division for 27 years.

In the 2006/07 season the club belonged to the Mestis , Finland's second division. At the end of the season, he was relegated to the third-class Suomi-sarja .
