Józef Wandzik (born August 13, 1963 in Tarnowskie Góry , Poland ) is a former Polish football player .

Józef Wandzik began his professional career in 1981 with the Polish first division club Ruch Chorzów , where he played for four years and made a total of 56 missions. In 1985, Wandzik moved to league competitor Górnik Zabrze , where he immediately became a regular player, was able to win three Polish championships and the Super Cup in five years and made a total of 140 inserts. In 1990 Wandzik moved abroad and signed a contract with the Greek top club Panathinaikos Athens , where he should have his most successful time. In addition to three Greek championships , four cup wins and a Super Cup, Wandzik reached the semi-finals of the 1996 with AthensUEFA Champions League where, despite a 1-0 away win, they were knocked out by Ajax Amsterdam . After 250 appearances for Panathinaikos, Wandzik moved to Apollon Athens in 1999, before ending his active career in 2001 after another season at Athinaikos Athens.

For the Polish national football team , Wandzik completed 52 international matches between 1985 and 1995 and took part in the 1986 World Cup with them.
