Jörg Hamann (born June 17, 1965 in Hamburg ) is a Hamburg CDU politician .

Life

After graduating from high school , Hamann studied law at the University of Hamburg . Since 1997 he has been a lawyer in a law firm focused on commercial law .

He is married and has a daughter.

politics

At the age of 16 Hamann joined the Junge Union and the CDU. Since then he has been active in local politics. In 1997 he became a member of the district assembly in the Hamburg-Mitte district and in 2001 chairman of the parliamentary group there .

From March 17, 2004 to 2020, he was a member of the Hamburg citizenship , where he was chairman of the urban development committee and spokesman for the CDU members in the submission committee, as well as a member of the hardship committee and deputy member of the social committee. He no longer belongs to the citizenship elected in 2020.
