Jörg Martin (soccer player)
Jörg Martin (born August 15, 1954 - † June 25, 1979 ) was a German football player.
career
In 1971, as a youth national player from TSV Buchholz 08, he was brought to the HSV youth team by HSV manager Gerhard Heid . In the 1972/1973 season he was used once in the League Cup. He was part of the professional squad for one season from 1973 to 1974.
He then moved to HSV Barmbek-Uhlenhorst , who played in the 2nd Bundesliga North at the time. He played 6 games for the club and later coached the team there. On June 25, 1979, Martin had a fatal accident at work. He was married and had a daughter.
