Jörgen Kjell Elofsson (born January 14, 1962 ) is a Swedish songwriter . Elofsson has worked for Britney Spears , Kelly Clarkson , Ana Johnsson , Marie Serneholt and Shayne Ward , among others . He also writes for the groups Westlife and Il Divo .

Career

He began his musical career at the age of 16 as a lead singer and guitarist in various bands. He then started a solo career and released two albums in 1989 and 1992 under the name "Shane". From 1994 he was only active as a songwriter. From January 1998 he worked at Cheiron Studios, where he mainly worked with David Kreuger and Per Magnusson.

In 2005 he founded the Planet Six label from Sony BMG . The following year his song "The Time of Our Lives" became the official FIFA anthem for the 2006 World Cup in Germany. It was sung by Il Divo and Toni Braxton . In 2009 he wrote songs for finalists of the casting shows Deutschland sucht den Superstar , Idol, American Idol, The X-Factor and Pop Idol.

In 2012 he composed and produced the comeback solo album A by Agnetha Fältskog (formerly ABBA ), which was released in 2013.
