Jörn Freynick (born October 6, 1982 in Bonn ) is a German media designer , politician ( FDP ) and member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Career

Jörn Freynick grew up in Bornheim . He graduated from high school in 2003. Freynick did his basic military service and completed training as a media designer in image and sound from 2006 to 2009. In 2010, Jörn Freynick began a distance learning course in political science at the University of Hagen, which he broke off without a degree in 2014. In 2013 he started his own business as a sales manager and business trainer. As head of an academy of the "Condisco" brand operated by his brother Jan Freynick, today inside-intermedia GmbH & Co. KG, Freynick sold further training offers to medium-sized companies. Jörn Freynick is married and has three children.

Political party

Jörn Freynick joined the FDP in 2002. In 2007 he became chairman of the FDP city association Bornheim. Until 2013, he worked for the FDP MPs Christian Lindner , Werner Hoyer , Gabriele Molitor , Jörg von Pohlheim and Guido Westerwelle . After the FDP left the Bundestag in 2013, he worked as a sales manager and business trainer.

politics

Freynick has been a member of the Bornheim City Council since 2009 and has been the third deputy mayor there since 2014. In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2017 , he received a mandate on his party's state list. He also ran for election in the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis III state electoral district , where he received 11.0 percent of the first votes and his party 16.8 percent of the second votes. For the FDP parliamentary group in the Düsseldorf state parliament, Freynick acts as spokesman for state planning and as spokesman for mining safety, as well as spokesman for LGBTI * (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans * and inter *). He is a member of the parliamentary committee for economy, energy and regional planning in the committee for family, children and youth and in the committee for digitization and innovation.
