Jörn Heinz Adolf Wunderlich (born January 16, 1960 in Gladbeck ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ).

Life

education and profession

After graduating from high school in Aurich in 1978 , Wunderlich studied law in Berlin and Göttingen, which he completed in 1987 with the first state examination in law. After completing his legal clerkship , he passed the second state examination in 1991. Wunderlich is a member of the AEV Wartburg-Coburgia Göttingen student association . He then started as a public prosecutor at the Chemnitz District Court and in 1993 moved to the Chemnitz District Court as a judge .

Party career

In 1999, Wunderlich became a member of the PDS and from 2002 to 2005 he was the deputy chairman of the PDS district association in Chemnitzer Land . In the district association of the party Die Linke Zwickau, which emerged from the Chemnitzer Land district association, Wunderlich does not have any board activities. Since 2014 he has been the local chairman of the Limbach-Oberfrohna branch.

Member of Parliament

Wunderlich has been a member of the Chemnitzer Land district council since 2004 . His home constituency is Chemnitzer Land - Stollberg . From 2005 to 2017 he was a member of the German Bundestag . Here he was family and senior policy spokesman for the left-wing parliamentary group , its chairman in the committee for family, senior citizens, women and youth and one of its seven parliamentary directors . Wunderlich entered the Bundestag via the state list of Saxony . Since 2014 he has been a city councilor for the Left in the large district town of Limbach-Oberfrohna.

Private

Jörn Wunderlich is a Protestant , married in his second marriage and the father of one child each from his first and second marriage.
