Jewish cemetery in Bodenheim

The Jewish cemetery in Bodenheim , a local community in the Mainz-Bingen district in Rhineland-Palatinate , was established in 1883. The Jewish cemetery is located on the south-western outskirts, on the extension of Ebersheimer Weg. It is a protected cultural monument .

The cemetery was occupied until 1937. During the Nazi era , it was devastated in the summer of 1943.

There are still 43 tombstones in the 594 m² cemetery .
