The Jewish cemetery in the city of Frechen in the Rhein-Erft district , North Rhine-Westphalia , is located on the corner of Dr.-Schulz-Straße and Herbertskaul in the middle of a residential area. It is enclosed by a wall and a high iron railing. The gate is locked. The Star of David can be seen in the gate wings . There is a memorial stone at the entrance .

The cemetery was occupied from 1752 to 1930. Today there are still 85 tombstones ( Mazewot ) on the 2179 m² burial site.

During the November pogrom the cemetery was desecrated and, as in almost all Jewish cemeteries , many inscriptions on the tombstones were destroyed. For a long time several tombs were stored in a pile. They were later set up again by the city of Frechen.
