In 1870, the Jewish community bought a field with a size of about 517 m 2 to the right of the road that leads from Hartmanitz to Langendorf ( Dlouhá Ves u Sušice ). The cemetery had numerous tombstones ( mazewot ) with Hebrew and German inscriptions. After the annexation to the German Reich on the basis of the Munich Agreement in October 1938, the tombstones were removed and allegedly used for road construction. The only surviving tombstone is at the synagogue in Hartmanitz .
On April 29, 1945, twelve women who had died on the death march from Helmbrechts to Wallern were buried here in a communal grave .
