Jewish cemetery (Klotten)
The Jewish cemetery Klotten is a cemetery in Klotten ( Cochem-Zell district , Rhineland-Palatinate ).
The Jewish cemetery is located on the road to Landkern in a secluded forest clearing “Jünkern” (west of the district road 25 leading in the direction of Wildpark / Landkern). There are 15 tombstones and tombstone fragments on the 212 square meter burial site . The first burial in the cemetery took place in 1870, the last in 1921.
The former cemetery parcel, which is gradually overgrown, does not currently show any maintenance that serves to permanently preserve this place of remembrance of the Jewish culture and history of the place.
