Jewish cemetery (Braunsbach)
The Jewish cemetery in Braunsbach is a Jewish cemetery in Braunsbach , a municipality in the Schwäbisch Hall district in northern Baden-Württemberg .
The dead of the Jewish community in Braunsbach were initially buried in the Berlichingen Jewish cemetery . In 1738 a separate cemetery was created on the edge of the forest. The cemetery has an area of 7.92 acres and 398 tombstones ( mazewot ) remain today. The oldest gravestone dates from 1747/48, the last burial took place in 1938.
A notice board and a memorial stone for the Braunsbach Jews murdered during the National Socialist era are in the cemetery.
