Jewish cemetery (Landstuhl)

The Landstuhl Jewish Cemetery is a cemetery in the town of Landstuhl in the Kaiserslautern district in Rhineland-Palatinate . It stands as a cultural monument under monument protection .

The Jewish cemetery is located on the south-eastern outskirts in the eastern part of the communal cemetery south of Kaiserstrasse (= L 395) at No. 98. It is separated by a wall.

In the 390 square meter cemetery, which was laid out in 1896 and occupied in the following years, there are 46 tombstones , mostly made of granite . They date between 1896 and 1940. Before that, the dead of the Landstuhl Jewish community had been buried in the Herschberg Jewish cemetery .
