Jürgen Bulla

Jürgen Bulla (* 1975 in Munich ) is a German author and translator who also organizes readings.

Life

Jürgen Bulla studied German , English and philosophy at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and today works as a German and English teacher at the Wittelsbacher Gymnasium in Munich. He has published texts since 1995, initially in magazines and anthologies. In 1999 his first volume of poetry was published under the title Glas , which was followed by three further volumes of poetry and a volume with prose. He also translated texts by Richard Dove and Michael Hamburger . He also wrote a textbook on classical and romantic poetry.

Jürgen Bulla curated the Munich reading series Season II and is co-organizer of the Lyrik readings in the Caveau . He was also one of the co-organizers of the Poetry Slam in the Substance in Munich. He belongs to the poetry group Reimfrei .
