Jürgen Czwienk

Jürgen Czwienk (* 1956 in Wiesbaden ) is a German author , screenwriter and director .

Life

Czwienk studied literature and theater, film and television studies (TFF) at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . Czwienk lives in Wiesbaden.

Since 1984 he has been doing various freelance activities on ZDF . Since 1988 Czwienk has worked for numerous national and international broadcasters as an author, director and producer. His work focuses thematically on content from the fields of music, history and contemporary history. Czwienk has been the author and inventor of the acoustic stumbling block Grünbaum since 2011 . Since 2015 he has been working as a visual artist on the camera obscura photo art project Pencil of Nature . In 2018, Czwienk, in cooperation with the Stuttgart City Museum, permanently installed an acoustic stumbling block for the young person Klara Leucht. With the help of a hand crank, passers-by produce their own electricity and can then listen to four to six audio examples of the respective biographies. In 2019 the acoustic stumbling block was installed for the German Exile Archive 1933–1945 at the entrance to the German National Library in Frankfurt am Main.
