Jürgen Guttenberger

Jürgen Guttenberger (born June 18, 1941 in Krakow ) is a German politician and former North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament member of the SPD .

Life and work

After attending primary school and secondary school , he completed training as a paint laboratory technician. From 1962 he was union secretary at the German Trade Union Confederation and from 1964 consultant at the SPD. From 1969 to 1970 an administration training and activities at the Federal Labor Office followed.

Guttenberger joined the SPD in 1961. He is active in numerous bodies of the party. Since 1958 he has been a member of various DGB trade unions, and since 1969 a member of the public services, transport and traffic union .

MP

From May 29, 1980 to May 30, 1990 Guttenberger was a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected directly in constituency 041 Mettmann II.

He was a member of the city council of Hilden from 1969 to 1972, the council of the city of Haan from 1974 to 1980. In the district council of Mettmann Guttenberger was represented from 1976 to 1989.
