Jürgen Hildebrandt

Jürgen Hildebrandt (born July 24, 1948 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German handball trainer and former handball player .

The 1.90 meter tall Hildebrandt began with the handball game in 1958 at SG Dynamo Halle and from 1968 played at SC Dynamo Berlin . In 1982 he ended his active career at BSG Stahl Brandenburg .

He was 173 times in the squad of the men's national handball team of the GDR , at the world championship (WM) in 1974 he was runner-up with the national team and third at the 1978 World Cup . He also played for the GDR at the 1972 Olympic Games .

From 1978 Jürgen Hildebrand was a full-time trainer in the training center of SG Dynamo Brandenburg-West. Today Jürgen Hildebrand is the first chairman of SV63 Brandenburg / West (status: 2010). Among other things, his merit is the conversion of the club from a pure youth training center to a full-fledged handball club with youth, men and women teams. The greatest sporting success of SV63 Brandenburg / West was, among other things, the promotion of the first men's team to the Regionalliga Nordost in 2006.
