Jürgen Isenberg won at the Junior World Championships 1989 in Voss with Johannes Hackl , Holger Schönthier and Frank Isenberg in the relay race behind the relay from the Soviet Union and in front of the representation from the GDR the silver medal. In 1990, in Sodankylä, with Hackl, Martin Rossberger and Jürgen Wallner, the bronze medal was added behind the GDR and the Soviet Union.
