Jürgen Knubben (born March 19, 1955 in Rottweil ) is a German sculptor .

biography

Jürgen Knubben has been working as a sculptor since 1973. From 1977 to 1982 he studied theology at the University of Tübingen . Internships with the sculptors Erich Hauser , Romuald Hengstler and Franz Bucher ultimately led to sculpture. Since 1982 he has been teaching as a theologian and art teacher, in 2006 he was a visiting professor at the National Taiwan University . He is the initiator, organizer and participant in art projects, mainly in southern Germany, and lives and works in Rottweil. Knubben has been a member of the Baden-Württemberg Artists' Association since 2002.

style

The sculptures are reduced to the essentials. The material is steel, which becomes orange through oxidation.
