Jürgen Lier

Jürgen Lier (born September 17, 1936 in Berlin ) is a German stage and television actor .

Live and act

Lier received his artistic training in Hamburg and also gave his theater debut in the Hanseatic city. Subsequently, he worked on theaters in Rheydt, Münster and Bonn, before he returned to Hamburg in 1969 and settled there. A tour brought him together with the silent film star Dorothea Wieck at an early age . In addition to radio broadcasting, Jürgen Lier also mastered several roles in cinema and television films at the same time he moved to Hamburg from 1969, including a number of so-called St. Pauli films. There the gaunt mime with the distinctive facial features was initially used as a weird type and crook on duty. Lier was also seen in four Tatort episodes. Most recently, in the early 1990s, he had several appearances in the ARD early evening series Großstadtrevier by Jürgen Roland , his discoverer for the film and television landscape.
