Jürgen Mehlfeldt

Jürgen Mehlfeldt (born April 1, 1941 in Kiel ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Hamburg citizenship .

Life

Jürgen Mehlfeldt was in the period from 1975 - 2003 career (28 years) as an independent merchant in Hamburg operates. He is a trained master craftsman and honorary master of cutting and grinding technology and a gunsmith's guild . He was president of the General Association of Hamburg Craftsmen. Mehlfeldt is listed as an advisory board member of the association in the statement of accounts of the Hamburg SME and Business Association 2000–2002.

He is married and has three sons.

politics

From 1997 to 2004 he was a member of the citizenship of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. For the CDU parliamentary group he was the specialist spokesman for urban development in the state parliament and in the parliamentary committee of the same name . Another focus of his work is the labor market and craft. He was also a member of the European and Town Twinning Committee and the Economic Committee.

In the 2002 federal election , he was 14th for the CDU on the Hamburg state list.
