Jürgen Meyer (* 1945 in Celle ) is a German painter .

life and work

Jürgen Meyer studied at the Werkkunstschule Hannover with Raimund Girke and then from 1967 to 1972 at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf with Joseph Beuys and Erwin Heerich . Meyer taught at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig from 1993 to 1995 , in 1998/99 he had a teaching position at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach am Main and from 2003 to 2010 a professorship at the Kunsthochschule Kassel .
