Jürgen Prinz

Jürgen Prinz (born June 22, 1967 in Hermeskeil ) is a German musician , singer , composer , lyricist and music producer .

Life

As the son of a Franco-German connection, he grew up in a hotel near Trier . At the age of five he began taking piano and guitar lessons. This was followed by music theory , school orchestra, training as a hotel manager and accountant .

Prinz was singer and keyboard player for the band Strangers , followed by further training as a sound engineer at the SAE Institute in Cologne . He was also the singer of the band The Beach Boys . The band, under the management of Udo Wehr and Wolfgang Kaminski , achieved the highest chart positions with hits such as As hot as the sun , the German cover of Like Ice in the Sunshine or surfing on the Baggersee , Help me Sonja , Kaffebraun and My little one red cabriolet , all German-language cover versions of songs by the Beach Boys .

After saying goodbye to the beach boys at the 2004 ZDF summer hit parade with Dieter Thomas Heck , he released his first German solo album Traumfabrik with pop songs like Du make me summer or Show me how you kiss .

In 2007, Prinz founded the music publisher and the prinzmedia label . Various studio productions and projects with artists such as Michael Mendl , Dana Schweiger , Manuel Sanchez, the children's opera of the Bayreuth Festival and others followed. In 2013, Prinz Tonstudios added a second studio for productions in high definition format, recordings of live concerts in 4K ultra high definition format, content preparation, soundtrack productions and more.
