Jürgen Stegmann

Jürgen Stegmann (born May 4, 1964 in Dresden ) is a German actor and director .

Life

Jürgen Stegmann grew up in Dresden . He started acting in the 1970s and has been a practicing actor since 1989. From 1985 to 1989 he studied at the Leipzig Theater Academy . Engagements have taken him to the Theater Landesbühne Hannover , Ernst Deutsch Theater Hamburg, Wolfgang Borchert Theater Münster, Burgfestspiele Bad Vilbel , Carrousel-Theater Berlin, Theater Zwickau .

Stegmann is part of the permanent ensemble of the Saxony State Theaters in Radebeul . However, he also makes guest appearances abroad with his own productions. In 2007 he starred in Out of Control (Body), The Treasure in Silbersee (Lord Castlepool, Felsenbühne Rathen der Landesbühne), The Sexual Neuroses of Our Parents (The Fine Lord), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Flaut, the Bellows Flicker), Harold and Maude (Father Finnegan), Die Komödie der Errungen (Angelo, a goldsmith), Loriot à la carte (actor), Pension Schöller (Eugen Rümpel), Ronja the robber's daughter (Borka, Birks father), Theatersport (actor) and in Woyzeck (The Doctor).

Own productions include the ballad program “Stay a while, you're so beautiful ...” with texts by Goethe and Schiller .

Stegmann is committed to the German language society .

He is a director and artistic supervisor in several theater groups , such as the Radebeul group Heiterer Blick , and gives regular readings in the Radebeul city library .
