Jürgen Suppanschitz (born March 11, 1986 in Voitsberg ) is a handball goalkeeper from Austria .

The 1.90 meter tall and 85 kilogram goalkeeper is under contract with Alpla HC Hard .

For the Austrian national team , Jürgen Suppanschitz is in the extended squad for the 2011 World Cup , he has not yet played any international matches .

After the 2011/2012 season, Jürgen Suppanschitz left the Austrian champions 2012, as both parties could not agree on a contract extension, for Germany and joined the third division club 1. VfL Potsdam.

After Suppanschitz left VfL Potsdam after one season, he was hired by Leichlinger TV in October 2013, where he made his debut in the 3rd League West on October 19. After only one year he moved to Bregenz Handball in his home country .
