Jürgen Wahl (politician)

Jürgen Wahl (born June 28, 1922 in Berlin ; † May 10, 1990 there ) was a German politician ( FDP ).

Jürgen Wahl attended high school and graduated from high school in 1940 . He began studying at the University of Innsbruck , but was drafted into the armed forces . As a soldier he was with the command news troop in the African campaign and later in Italy , where he was taken prisoner by the Americans , where he remained in Italy until 1947.

After the Second World War , Wahl was able to continue studying at the Gaußschule in Berlin . He worked as an electrician and became a technical employee at various electronic companies. In 1950 he joined the FDP. Since Kurt Weber (1924–1970) died, Wahl moved up to the Berlin House of Representatives in January 1970 . In January 1978 he moved up again in parliament, as Ulrich Roloff was elected President of the Berlin University of the Arts. Election moved up to parliament for the third time in May 1979, since Wolfgang Lüder continued to be Senator for Economics.
