J1 Plovdiv
The J1 Plovdiv (officially Plovdiv Cup ) is a world junior tennis tournament that has been held on clay by the International Tennis Federation since 2005 in April in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv . It belongs to the second highest tournament category G1 and is one of the largest youth tennis tournaments in Southeast Europe .
history
Founded in 2005, the tournament was continuously upgraded in the following years and should be held in class G1 for the first time in 2020. However, due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic , the edition was canceled .
