Arthur Cazaux (born August 23, 2002 ) is a French tennis player .

Career

Arthur Cazaux is eligible to play on the ITF Junior Tour until the end of 2020. There he achieved his highest ranking to date in February 2020 with rank 4. He has already competed in all four Grand Slam tournaments . His best result is the final at the Australian Open 2020 , when he lost the final to Harold Mayot , his doubles partner, in two sets. With him as a partner, he was able to reach the quarter-finals at the same tournament , just like at the US Open and French Open the year before.

At the professional level, Cazaux first played in 2019. His best performance there was reaching a final on the third-rate ITF Future Tour in October. He made his only appearance on the ATP Tour so far in February 2020 when he was able to start at the tournament in Marseille thanks to a wildcard . He played with Mayot in doubles competition and was eliminated in the first round against Nicolas Mahut and Vasek Pospisil . In the tennis world rankings, his best position was 959th in March.
