Dschaba Khositashvili ( Georgian ჯაბა ხოსიტაშვილი , English transcription: Jaba Khositashvili ; * July 23, 1990 ) is a Georgian boxer.

Career

Khositashvili won a bronze medal in the welterweight division at the 2009 European Youth Championships in Poland and a bronze medal in the middleweight division at the European Championships in Turkey in 2011 . After victories against Anthony Ogogo , Zoltán Harcsa and Artur Chatschatrjan, he was only defeated in the semifinals against Adem Kılıççı .

In 2014 he won the international Great Silk Way tournament in Azerbaijan.

He was also a participant in the 2013 Summer Universiade (quarter-finals), the 2013 European Championships (round of 16), and the 2011 World Championships (3rd preliminary round) and 2013 (2nd preliminary round).

He has also been a participant in the World Series of Boxing (WSB) since 2011 and fights in the Azerbaijan Baku Fires team. His balance here is ten wins and three defeats (as of May 2015).

In April 2016 he made his professional debut.
