Jabir Madari Pillyalil (born June 8, 1996 ) is an Indian hurdler who specializes in the 400 meter distance .

Athletic career

Jabir Madari Pillyalil gained his first international experience at the 2017 Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar , where he won the bronze medal behind Eric Cray and Chen Chieh from Taiwan in 50.22 seconds , as well as at the 2019 Asian Championships in Doha , where he competed with new Best performance of 49.13 s also won bronze behind which Katari Abderrahman Samba and Chen won. So he qualified for the first time for the World Championships , which also took place in Doha and got there to the semifinals , in which he was eliminated with 49.71 s. He then finished with theMilitary World Games in Wuhan took fourth place in the hurdles in 49.75 s and also with the Indian 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 06.81 min. At the beginning of December he won the silver medal in the hurdles behind Pakuistani Mehboob Ali at the South Asian Games in Kathmandu in 51.42 seconds and won the silver medal behind the team from Sri Lanka in 3: 08.21 minutes.

In 2019 Madari Pillyalil became Indian champion in the 400-meter hurdles.
