Jacek Heinrich Huchwajda (born April 3, 1967 in Poznań ) is a German fencing trainer and former saber fencer of FC Tauberbischofsheim . He is a three-time German champion and took part in the 1992 Olympics for Germany.

Life

In 1984, Huchwajda's parents left Poland with their children for the FRG. A little later, at the instigation of his father, Jacek found acceptance at FC Tauberbischofsheim. In Tauberbischofsheim he also attended the commercial high school of the Tauberbischofsheim commercial school , which he graduated with a secondary school leaving certificate. He then signed up for the German Armed Forces and won the saber fencing title at the 1991 Military World Cup.

From 1992 to 1994 Huchwajda attended the Cologne trainer academy . During this time he competed for OFC Bonn . After completing his training as a coach, however, he returned to FC Tauberbischofsheim, where he worked as a fencer and fencing trainer until 2006. Among his students were Alexander eighth , Tamara Biesinger and Matthias Grimm .

After seven years of coaching at the Oregon Fencing Alliance in Portland, Huchwajda moved to Duke University in Durham in 2013. There he works as an assistant trainer.
