Jack Haskell

Jack Haskell (birth name: Jack Strauss ; born April 13, 1886 in New York City , New York , † April 1963 ibid) was an American choreographer and film director who was nominated once for the Oscar for best dance directing.

Life

Haskell began his career as a choreographer and dance director in the Hollywood film industry in the late 1920s and was involved as a dance director for the first time in 1929 in the production of The Show of the Shows by John G.
