Jack Pani
Jack Pani (actually Jacques Pani; born May 21, 1946 in Troyes ) is a former French long jumper .
In 1966 he retired from qualifying at the European Indoor Games in Dortmund and finished eleventh at the European Athletics Championships in Budapest . In 1968 a fifth place at the European Indoor Games in Madrid was followed by a seventh place at the Olympic Games in Mexico City .
A seventh place at the European Championship in Athens in 1969 was followed by a victory at the European Athletics Cup in Stockholm in 1970 . In 1971 he was eliminated from qualifying at the European Championships in Helsinki and won the Mediterranean Games . At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1972 in Grenoble, he was sixth.
He was French champion four times (1967-1969, 1971). He set a national record four times, most recently with 8.16 m on June 22, 1969 in Pulversheim .
