Jackie Jakubowski

Jackie Jakubowski (born October 5, 1951 in Stettin , Poland ; † May 24, 2020 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish writer and journalist .

Life

Jakubowski came to Sweden as a refugee from Poland in 1970 (see March 1968 riots in Poland ). From 1980 to 2015 he was editor-in-chief of the Jewish cultural magazine Judisk Krönika ( Jewish Chronicle ).

In 2006 he was one of the speakers in the serial " Sommar " in the first program of Sveriges Radio .

In 2000 he was voted “ Journalist of the Year ” by Swedish magazines .
