Jackson Wells (born April 21, 1998 ) is a New Zealand freestyle skier . He starts in the disciplines of slopestyle and big air .

Career

Wells started in Cardrona in August 2013 in the Freestyle Skiing World Cup for the first time and finished 32nd in Slopestyle. At the 2014 Junior World Championships in Chiesa in Valmalenco , he took 17th place in slopestyle and 11th place in the halfpipe . The following year he was fourth in slopestyle at the Junior World Championships. In September 2015, he came third in the Toyota One Hit Wonder Big Air in Thredbo . At the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer , he took sixth place in slopestyle. At the beginning of the 2016/17 season he took second place at the Monster Energy Big Air event in Cardrona . In March 2017 he won the bronze medal in Big Air at the X-Games Norway 2017 in Hafjell and finished 24th in slopestyle at the Freestyle Skiing World Championships in Sierra Nevada .
