Jacques "Jacky" Courtillat (born January 8, 1943 in Melun ) is a former French foil fencer .
successes
Jacky Courtillat won the bronze medal with the team at the World Championships in Gdansk in 1963 and in Paris in 1965 . He took part in the Olympic Games twice: in 1960 , he was fifth with the team in Rome . At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 , he was eliminated from the individual competition in the quarter-finals. In the team competition, he moved into the semi-finals with the French team, in which they were defeated 6: 9 against the Soviet Union . In the final battle for third place, Courtillat together with Jean-Claude Magnan , Christian Noël , Daniel Revenu and Pierre Rodocanachi prevailed against Japan 9: 4 and thus won the bronze medal.
