Johann Philipp Jakob Nepomuk Graf and Noble Herr von und zu Eltz called Faust von Stromberg (* May 5, 1779 in Mainz , † April 22, 1844 in Pest ) was a Nassau count and president of the Herrenbank (the first chamber) of the estates of the Duchy of Nassau .

Jacob von und zu Eltz was the son of Count Hugo Philipp von und zu Eltz called Faust von Stromberg (1742-1818) and his wife Sophie von Boos zu Waldeck and Montfort (1744-1834). He was married to Maria Anna Freiin Wambolt von Umstadt (1796-1852). The marriage had two children:

  • Hugo Philipp Graf von Eltz called Faust von Stromberg (1817–1848)
  • Karl Graf von Eltz called Faust von Stromberg (1823–1900)

From 1825 to 1832 and from 1839 to 1845 Jacob von und zu Eltz belonged to the first chamber of the Nassau estates and was president there from 1825 to 1832 and 1839 to 1842.
