The Jacobsen Glacier is a glacier in the Ross Dependency of Antarctica . It flows from Mount Reid in the Holland Range in an east-northeast direction and flows into the Ross Ice Shelf on the Shackleton Coast .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own tellurometer measurements between 1961 and 1962 and aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1960. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after Harold Jacobsen, captain of the USNS Chattahoochee in Operation Deep Freeze in 1964 and 1965 .
