Dora Osterloh
Dora Osterloh (* around 1986) is a German jazz musician (vocals, composition).
Live and act
Osterloh grew up in a musical family in Cologne; her father is the trumpeter Klaus Osterloh . In her childhood she learned the violin and piano before she discovered singing as a means of expression. After graduating from high school, she went on a journey through New Zealand and then took part in the jazz preparatory course with André Nendza in Cologne . Between 2008 and 2014 she studied jazz singing in Maastricht , then with Celine Rudolph in Dresden .
Osterloh was part of the experimental vocal duo Eos Duett for several years . In 2012 she founded the quintet Kite , with which she released two albums. She also sings in Ensemble O. with the singers Friederike Merz , Zola Mennenöh and Laura Winkler . In the Duo Tæbieeri she works with electronics technician Gea Brown. Concert tours have taken her to Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and the Czech Republic.
