Jacqueline Aguilera Marcano (born November 17, 1976 in Valencia , Carabobo ) is a Venezuelan model , the head of a modeling agency , a beauty queen from Venezuela and Miss World 1995.
Life
Jacqueline Aguilera took part in the 1995 Miss Venezuela election. She represented the state of Nueva Esparta and placed second behind Alicia Machado , who was named Miss Universe in 1996 . Aguilera was able to take part in the final for Miss World, which took place on November 18, 1995 in Sun City , South Africa , due to the second place in the national contest . The Venezuelan was able to prevail against all competitors and has already won the fifth title in the history of this contest for her country. She thus succeeded Aishwarya Rai and was replaced as Miss World in 1996 by the Greek Irene Skliva . Another great success in her career was winning the Top Model of the World contest in Miami , Florida in 1995 . Jacqueline Aguilera currently runs a modeling agency in Venezuela.
